Our History
About
Warwick Women’s Careers Society was formed in 2015 by a group of female students with a powerful vision: unlocking female employment potential in all sectors. The society’s aim is to increase the awareness of special career opportunities for women across the campus.
Vision
Unlocking female employment potential in all sectors
Mission
To realise this aspiration, the society organises events, workshops and group discussions focused on women’s careers, whilst creating an open and friendly environment, which provides the members with an opportunity to socialize and network. We welcome different firms from various sectors to introduce their opportunities aimed at reducing the barriers for women to enter their chosen career paths.

We believe in inclusivity and strive to give equal opportunities to all of our members. Our members are ethnically, socially and internationally diverse, coming from both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. In the past year, we have grown over 72% in size and we are optimistic that our society will continue to grow and flourish in the future to support our vision.

The WoMentorship Scheme is unique to Warwick Women’s Careers Society. This initiative aims to connect women together through mentoring in diverse fields with the purpose of creating stronger networks, improving field knowledge and enhancing career possibilities.
